Following our gay guide of Cologne, let's venture into an in-depth exploration of gay Frankfurt, affectionately known as "FFM" and hailed as the second gayest city in the western part of Germany after Cologne. In the heart of Hessen, Frankfurt holds a special place in my heart as the first city I visited in Germany. I moved there to pursue my Erasmus studies, specifically at the University of Darmstadt, just a few kilometers away from Frankfurt.

With a rich historical tapestry, Frankfurt occupies a central position within Germany, acting as a pivotal economic and cultural hub. From its origins as the birthplace of the Holy Roman Empire to its influential role in medieval trade and finance, Frankfurt has left an indelible mark on European history.
